// about

It all started when I was a kid. I know it sounds weird saying this after I just became a legal adult, but stay with me. I never wanted to be a writer. It wasn't any sort of calling, nor did I enjoy doing it. In fact, I hated writing essays at school. Young Yehor also wasn't a reader. When the literature exam came around, hundreds of YouTube videos with summaries became the most handy thing he could find.
That's how bad it was.
So how did I actually get to the point where I'm writing it on my phone right now, while being stuck between two sweaty beer bellies coming back from work?
I fell in love with music. And being the opinionated fuck that I am, I wanted to express my feelings.
Music reviews became a starting point in who I was, but also a cage. After some time of producing the same structured articles, I realized — there's so much more I want to talk about. Politics, sports, journey of becoming an adult. But none of it resonated — not with my audience, not anywhere I put it out.
You know, I've been talking about all of these things as if I'm this established author already with hundreds of agents, and there is, like, a big origin story behind me.
There is. But it's still in the making, and you're witnessing it right now. Which only makes it better.

Right now, I'm working on my 2nd book and a short story collection, which will be out very soon. Think late 2026, or early 2027. English is not my first language, and it's probably really seen in my prose (not a compliment to myself).
But I will make sure that language never becomes a barrier for us to connect.
Alright, that's it for now.
Peace
